Background
The project began when CEO Ogawa, while in Cambodia through a University of Yamanashi study abroad program, witnessed firsthand the challenges facing a rural elementary school partnered with the university. Multiple facility damages posed a safety risk and got in the way of children's learning, and he decided to help.
What we did
He personally brought a camera to film on-site, and used that footage to plan and design the crowdfunding page himself. The funds raised were used to repair the school.
Results
60 supporters contributed a total of ¥566,000 (70% of the ¥800,000 goal), and the campaign closed on January 10, 2026. The funds raised are being used to repair the school.
