Takuto Ogawa, Representative Director and CEO of MAISEND Inc., received the MOTUS Award in the final round of "CCMC2025," an international electroacoustic music competition.
About the winning piece
The winning piece, titled "Ikiru" ("To Live"), was built around sounds that left a strong impression on him throughout his life, forming a work with a clear narrative arc. The piece is scheduled to be performed at FESTIVAL FUTURA in France.
Background
Ogawa has continued composing music alongside his video production work while studying in the special needs education program at the University of Yamanashi's Faculty of Education. He draws on this experience to compose the music for MAISEND's own video productions as well.
