On January 11, 2026, the art event "Stella Toyoko" was held at Gallery 1045 in Kofu. Our representative director and CEO, Takuto Ogawa, co-organized the event together with Kenshiro Yokoyama.
Concept
The event was built around a single idea: through painting, digital technology, and music, create a space where anyone can shine as a creator, regardless of age or disability. It brought together the film and music expression MAISEND has built through its video division, the special needs education perspective at the heart of our education division, and the VR technology of our spatial design division — a rare overlap of Ogawa's personal interests and MAISEND's own business areas.
On the day
The venue featured an exhibition of paintings on fabric alongside a VR viewing experience, a performance by the dance circle "Suki Suki Dancers," a hands-on dance workshop, and a workshop for building drums out of trash cans and packing tape.
